Foreigner composes melody to send hope to China

Angelo Castagneto, an Ecuadorian in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, has composed a melody Hope for Chinese people. He wishes China can maintain its hope in fighting the novel coronavirus pneumonia.
"My dear Chinese friends, we are going through a difficult time. However, be sure to relax your mood. The melody is for you. Please take care of yourselves," he said in a video.
Angelo has been in China for 11 years and he is now an employee in a renewable energy company in Shenzhen city.
His love in music dates back to his childhood. A serious illness once motivated him to start a musical therapy studio in Shenzhen.
When he arrived in Shenzhen, he had a strong impulse to start a business and hope to combine his interests with helping more people to ease their tense and relieve stress, he said, adding "I identify my new career as a musical therapist."
He likes to compose music whenever the society is in a difficult period so as to convey positive energy to the people by music, a universal language transcending cultural differences.
