WHO is 'looking into' letter from US government

On Wednesday, the WHO said it is "looking into" a letter from United States President Donald Trump threatening to permanently withhold US funding.
Executive Director of the WHO Health Emergencies Programme Michael Ryan explained how the US funding is used to deliver essential health services to some of the most vulnerable people in the world.
Ryan added he "trust(s) that other donors will, if necessary, step in to fill that gap".
