Vegetable, fruit exports to Mongolia rise
China's exports of fresh vegetables and fruits to Mongolia saw robust growth in the first quarter of this year, according to Customs figures. Over 26,000 metric tons of fruits and vegetables were exported via Ereenhot, the largest land port on the border between China and Mongolia, during the first three months of the year, up 25.1 percent on a yearly basis. Total export value hit 34.8 million yuan ($5.36 million) during the period, up 33.6 percent year-on-year.
Foreign trade up in Guizhou during Q1
Southwest China's Guizhou province posted robust growth in foreign trade during the first quarter of this year, local Customs officials said. Guizhou's total imports and exports surged 85.7 percent on a yearly basis to 13.91 billion yuan ($2.14 billion) during the period, according to Guiyang Customs. The growth rate is 56.5 percentage points higher than the national average.
