Former UN official hails China's climate change policies

Erik Solheim, a former United Nations undersecretary-general who has visited China many times, was impressed by the country's efforts in tackling climate change.
Solheim hailed China's overseas coal power plant promise and shared some of China's achievements he witnessed in going green.
Looking to the future, he expressed confidence that China can be successful in establishing an ecological civilization.
