1 dead in landslide in Longsheng, Guangxi

One person was confirmed dead on Friday in a flash flood and mudslide disaster in Sanshe village, Longsheng county in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, according to China Central Television news.
The disaster happened at around 5 am on Friday, leaving one dead, eight others suspected missing and three injured. Ten houses were damaged and other residents were safely relocated, according to the preliminary reports.
Emergency teams found a trapped individual at around 9 am who showed no signs of life.
Rescue efforts are still underway.
