Jin Ziwei won the Long Novel Award for Ping Guo Hong Le (The Apples Are Ripe), which spans four decades of China's reform and opening-up through three generations of a farming family. The novel depicts a young farmer using AI and blockchain to modernize agriculture.
Yi Xiangdong also received the Long Novel Award for Ceng Zai Bu Dui Kang Guo Qiang (Once Carried a Gun in the Army), portraying the resilience of veterans after military service.
