Competition promotes China-Singapore sustainable cooperation in Tianjin
Over 150 teams from Singapore, China, and other countries gathered in the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City on Wednesday for the International Youth Talents Innovation Competition, showcasing projects aimed at energy conservation, emissions reduction, and ecological protection.
The top prize went to the Single-phase Immersion Liquid-cooling Intelligent Computing Center project, jointly developed by the Tianjin University of Commerce and Tianjin Tier Technology. The project applies advanced liquid-cooling technology that uses natural cold sources to dissipate server heat. Compared with conventional methods, it cuts costs by more than 40 percent over its life cycle. It has already been deployed in four data centers, supporting applications in AI and cloud computing.
