African officials visit Ningxia e-commerce poverty relief workshop
The workshop's impact has resonated with the visitors. "Seeing women engaged in e-commerce is inspiring. We have 80 percent of women in our community development associations. China's experience offers a new approach for our own development," said N'Dasoso Flore-Benbac Bende, director of Poverty Reduction Strategies at the Ministry of National Cohesion, Solidarity and Poverty Alleviation in Cote d'Ivoire.
Amadou Camara, director of Protocol Affairs at the Transitional National Council of Guinea, was also impressed by the model. "I am stunned to see how these women, once left behind, have become entrepreneurs through e-commerce. This model is highly instructive," he noted, highlighting the valuable lessons Africa can learn from China's poverty reduction efforts.
