China cracks down on graft

BEIJING - Jin Daoming, a local legislator in North China's Shanxi Province, is now under investigation for suspected serious violation of discipline and laws, the discipline watchdog of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said on Thursday.

Jin is the vice chairman of Shanxi Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee.

The CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said this in a statement on its website.
