規(guī)定指出，在具體崗位頂崗實習的學生人數(shù)不高于同類崗位在崗職工總人數(shù)的20%(Student interns should account for no more than 20% of total employees in the same position in a company)。規(guī)定嚴禁安排學生到酒吧、夜總會、歌廳、洗浴中心(bath center)等營業(yè)性娛樂場所(entertainment venue)實習。

規(guī)定還要求，職業(yè)學校和實習單位不得向學生收取實習押金(charge internship deposit)、頂崗實習報酬提成(salary commissions)、管理費(management fees)或者其他任何形式的實習費用(internship fees of any kind)。
