Microsoft founder turned philanthropist Bill Gates released a glass full of mosquitoes at an elite technology conference to make a point about the deadly disease malaria (see photo). Gates then waited a minute or so before assuring the audience the freed insects were malaria-free. Gates retired as head of Microsoft last year to focus more on his foundation.
近日，為強(qiáng)調(diào)瘧疾的危害性，微軟創(chuàng)立者、慈善家比爾·蓋茨在出席一個(gè)精英云集的技術(shù)大會(huì)時(shí)，突然在現(xiàn)場(chǎng)打開(kāi)瓶子放飛了一群蚊子(見(jiàn)圖)。大約一分鐘后，蓋茨才向緊張的聽(tīng)眾保證，這些蚊子不帶瘧疾病毒。蓋茨去年離開(kāi)微軟高位，將主要精力投入慈善。
