Hosted by the Wuhu City Tourism Association and Honghuashan Group and organized by the Fanchang County Tourism Association, the third Eurasian Renzu Mountain Praying Culture Tourism Festival will open on November 9 in the Maren mountain peak scenic area.
During the festival, there will be various ceremonies for ancestral worship and prayer performances themed around prayer and folk shows in Fanchang county. Tourists will also be able to enjoy souvenir exhibitions and promotions.
One distinctive feature of the festival is the integration of the supervision of government and market operations. While adopting a series of frugal and environmentally-friendly measures, the festival will also place a premium on displaying local folk culture. Tourists from all over the country can expect various promotional discounts during the festival. For instance, from November 8 to 15, there will be 50 percent off on tickets for the Maren mountain peak area and hotel fees in Maren village.
Starting in 2010, the festival has been an important commemoration for the discovery of Fanchang Paleolithic sites. This time, the festival is expected to help publicize the unique tourism in Renzu Mountain and enhance cross-industry cooperation between culture and tourism.
