On October 30th, DRC President Mr. Zhang Yutai met with a delegation headed by Mr. John Denham, UK Secretary of State for Innovation, University and Skills. Mr. Zhang and Mr. Denham introduced respectively the structures of innovation systems and the policy orientations in China and United Kingdom and exchanged views on the cooperation in the field of innovation. Mme. Lv Wei, Director General of DRC’s Department of Techno-Economic Research elaborated on the role played by the research institutions and enterprises on technological innovation in China. Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department, Mr. Chen Xiaohong, Director General of DRC’s Enterprise Research Institute and Mr. Li Zhijun, Deputy Director General of Department of Techno-Economic Research, were present at the meeting.
