Karamay Central Hospital has recently inked another cooperation agreement with the West China Hospital Affiliated to Sichuan University, the Karamay Daily reported.
The West China Hospital sent a team of 17 medical experts to Karamay 22 years ago to support local medical development. This time, it decided to offer supports in healthcare reform, improvement of service quality and professional training.
A delegation formed by senior doctors has arrived in Karamay and started work, according to Zhang Wei, vice-director of the West China Hospital.
Wu Haiyan, vice-director of the Karamay health bureau, said that the West China Hospital has made generous contributions to the development of medical and health services in Karamay.
