Executives from overseas Chinese language media visited Liangjiang on May 24, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The activity was co-sponsored by the China News Agency and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. A total of 23 media executives from 18 Southeast Asian, European and American countries took part.

The delegates visited the Liangjiang New Area Exhibition Hall, Guoyuan Port, Liangjiang Aviation Industrial Park, Chongqing BOE Photoelectric Company and Yuelai New City, an ecological and quality dwelling center in Liangjiang New Area featuring real estate, hotels, and green areas.

"Liangjiang New Area is quite efficient in high-end industries and has attracted high-end professionals and specialists," said Sun Jing, deputy chief editor of New Island journal.

Yuelai New City boasts several important venues including Chongqing International Exhibition Center, the largest exhibition center in west China, and the second largest in the entire nation.
